St. Francis Xavier Parish on CNN

    June 28th, 2010 | Inspirational, News, Sound Off! |

I am incredibly proud of the pastor, parishioners, and especially, members of the Catholic lesbian group at St. Francis Xavier church who refused to be silenced and marched in this weekend’s gay pride day parade.  As they have done for many years, gay people at St. Francis Xavier hand out literature to people along the parade route encouraging lesbian and gay people to come home and reconnect with their faith.

Here’s a clip of the group on CNN.  Great going!  Wow!

This is great – first read about it on CNN. Must be a terrific parish.

…sure do miss the community of the old forum. Did it move somewhere else or is it just over?

JustMe – great to hear from you! I gave up on the Forum after no one wrote for several months. I had our webmaster splice the Bookshelf for me to use as an occasional blog post on CL issues – silly and serious. Actually, that is how the original Forum got going.

I am in personal contact with Sandy South – we have stayed in touch. You are welcome to email me at blueduck11944@gmail.com. I would be happy to be friends.
      Best regards, Karen
